Non-nuclear users
NDAWG feels that it is important to provide information of relevance to non-nuclear (small) users. The 7th NDAWG main meeting identified the issues which are thought to be important in dose assessments for non-nuclear users. NDAWG members considered what they could do as a group to address these issues. An initial note on issues for non-nuclear users was drafted. If there are issues related to routine release dose assessment that non-nuclear users would like NDAWG to address then please e-mail us at ndawg@hpa.org.uk. NDAWG note on issues for non-nuclear users
Several of the NDAWG publications are thought to be of particular interest to non-nuclear users. Principles for the assessment of total retrospective public doses, NDAWG/2/2005; An overview of uncertainty in radiological assessments, NDAWG/1/2005; Radiological assessment exposure pathways checklist, NDAWG/2/2004; Reviewing non nuclear licensed site radiation dose assessments taking into account uncertainty, NDAWG/1/2006.
